Buildings, class rooms and drawing halls available:
There is main building housing office, Library and classrooms and some laboratories. A total of 40 classrooms and 7 drawing halls and one Seminar Hall exist.

Campus Wide Network:
College is having campus wide network with OFC as backbone. Around 700 computer systems are working under the network. Layer 3 manageable switches are used for better management and security.

Internet Facility:
Institution has a 1 mbps speed leased line internet connectivity. This facility is extended to nearby Boys' hostel's computer centre and it is accessible for 24 hours.

A seperate internet center (of capacity 100 systems) is established in new library building for online digital study material access through IEEE and other online journals.

English Lab, Carrier Lab, Aptitute test labs are also available for students to develop their communication skills.

New HP P4 Dual Core Systems of 150 number have been purchased.

Computing Facilities:

Institution has more than 700 number of  P4 computers of latest configuration with Laser Printers, Network Printers, Legal Softwares:

Servers: IBM 346x Series rack mounted servers are available for mail server, ftp, dns , data server, webserver and for other services.

Shortly, wireless network is getting installed in the campus, which can be accessed by students and staff from anywhere within the campus.

Ladies Room :A seperate room exists for girls to spend their leasure time and for relaxation.

PLACEMENT & TRAINING CELL: College has very good placement and placement cell. Frequently most prominant companies are invited for campus interviews. Many of students are well placed in many MNCs and Indian organizations. Cell has Placement officer, Dr.Mahadevappa Gadage.

Playground and sports facility available:
A big playground exists for track events, cricket and football games. A Basketball, Volleyball and a Ball badminton ground are just adjoining the college building. Facility for all kinds of indoor games like, table tennis, chess, weight lifting and others is provided for.

Two Physical directors are appointed to take care of all sports and games activities. College also conducts zonal and inter zonal tournaments for all the universities of VTU, every year.

Availability of NCC, NSS, and other scheme:
The College has an NSS cell, looked after by a Senior Faculty member. The NSS cell has adopted a village every year and educates the villagers in aspects like sanitation, drinking water, public health, social awareness about environment and education.

Hostel, Mess, Canteen facility, safe drinking water in the campus:
A main Boys’ Hostel, named after Moulana Abul Kalam is just across the main building and across the railway track has 201 rooms and is having a plinth area of 6895 Sq.ft., and accommodates around 400 students. The Hostel has an attached mess and a reading room and computer facility. The Girls’ Hostel has a plinth area of 1761 sq. ft and has 50 rooms and has the capacity for 160 students. The Girls Hostel is at a walk able distance from the college.

Transportation facility for staff and students:
The college has two buses, one for boys and one for girls for their transportation from hostels, city and other places. Students and staff for excursions and educational tours also use the buses.

Satellite Reception Center:
With the assistance from AICTE under TAPTEC scheme satellite data reception center has been established to acquire meteorological data and for receiving and studying various Geo-Stationary Satellites.

VTU's EDUSAT:
Institution has access to on-line classes engaged by experts from VTU , Belgaum through satellite services. These classes will be organized as per VTU Edusat time-table.

M.H.R.D. Projects:
The college has received an amount of Rs. 4 crores so far, from Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India under various projects

Library Automation:
Library has been completely automated, all issues, receipts and stock and various other aspects. The library also has a barcode reader and barcode printer.

The college houses a modern computerized office, well equipped library, both for PG and UG, a centralized ultra-modern computing facility, networked Internet facility and a separate Internet center. The laboratories have been well equipped with abundant grants both from HRD and liberal inputs from the Management. The college has many a special activity centers like a center for Electronic Design and Product Development Center, a satellite tracking center, a photography & Climatology lab, Neural Networks lab etc. The college also has an an I.T.Incubation center sanctioned by the State Government very recently.

Open access library with reprographic facility, General and Technical magazines available in the library:
The Library is situated in main building with an area of 800 sq.meters. It has a total of 29299 books. An amount of 5,59,000 was spent last year to procure new books and magazines. The library works throughout the day from 8 in the morning to 8 in the evening. The Library has a reference section, a reading room facility and has open access for all books.

The library subscribes for 60 regular periodicals. The library is fully computerized and has all the books bar-coded. The library has several educational CDs for the students to view.


Libraries and Computer facilities exist both at College and Departmental level. Video conferencing facilities for the Principal & the faculty are being planned. A strict discipline is being maintained in the college regarding conduction of classes, completion of courses and student attendance. College faculty is highly qualified, experienced and motivated.

The College conducts very often Seminars and Symposiums, conducts an annual Projects Exhibition called “Techno-Vision”, and brings out a monthly College News Letter, which is circulated, in and around the campus.

College invites many a dignitaries for delivering speeches to students on various topics. Conducts educational tours and excursions for students.

All the departments in the college have their own library providing for textbooks, reference books, journals and magazines. Every department has its own computer facility.

All students get cool and potable water at the nearest spot. The Staff have co-operative society, association and an exclusive reading room.

College meeting the needs of students and staff runs a co-operative store. Exclusive canteens for both staff and students exist.
